Portland Trail Blazers at LA Clippers: Match Preview, Prediction, Time, TV Channel

The Portland Trail Blazers want to return to Portland after two games in California and get at least one win.

The Blazers play at the LA Clippers on Wednesday night after losing 111-98 at the Sacramento Kings on Monday night.

The Clippers look very different this season. Paul George is now playing for the Philadelphia 76ers and Kawhi Leonard is out with his recent injury.

All of this puts more pressure on offensive lineman James Harden, who is averaging 25.0 points and 11.7 assists per game.

Former Blazers forward Norman Powell is averaging 24.7 points and center Ivica Zubachas has posted 22.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. He never averaged more than 11.7 points in an entire season.

The new combination of leading offensive stars produced victories with the Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors.

The Clippers rank 10th in field goal percentage (47%) but struggled from distance, shooting 31.7% (25th), just ahead of the Blazers (32%, 27th). .

The Clippers made up for their lack of three-point shooting with good defense. They rank third in defensive rating (103.2), while Portland ranks 17th (113.3).

Forecast: The Blazers took terrible shots at the Kings and lost. It's possible that Portland will make up for this performance with a good performance against the Clippers. Look for the Blazers to put in a better performance than they did against the Kings with Anferenee Simons and Jerami Grant to steal this game but fall short in the end.
